Sublime atmosphere, hundreds of guests invited and the only Pole among the world’s motorsports elite. Kuba Przygoński from ORLEN Team received in Saint-Petersburg the prize for the victory in FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies.
This year’s season of FIA, the biggest in the world organization managing automotive sports, was topped by the festive Gala in Concert Hall in Saint-Petersburg. During the event world’s best drivers of 2018 received prizes for victories in their classes. Among them there was one Pole – Kuba Przygoński from ORLEN Team, into whose hands went the statuette for the FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies.
- It was an awesome event – great localization, red carpet, thousand of guests, the fastest competitors in the world. From Lewis Hamilton, through Sebastien Ogier from WRC, to the representatives of the most important FIA cars classes – says Kuba Przygoński from ORLEN Team. – We are proud that me and Tom Colsoul could join this bevy and celebrate this special season this way. Jakub Przygoński and his co-driver Tom Colsoul are the winners of FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies 2018. ORLEN Team crew had and exceptionally successful season – Polish-Belgian team took part in 10 rounds of World Cup, winning four of them and five times being runner-up on the finish. In January 2019 the duo will compete in 41st Dakar Rally – Kuba Przygoński will fight for victory.
